A verge watch with repeater, made by the royal watchmaker Le Roy in Paris, France, circa 1800. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and has the French hallmarks. The white enamel dial has Arabic fifteen minute- and hour numerals and Breguet hands and the movement has a verge escapement with quarter repeater on the case band à-toc.
Movement and cuvette have matching numbers and dial, cuvette and movement are signed.
