A rare large calendar watch with center seconds, made by the court watchmaker Vaucher in Paris, France, circa 1780. The numbered open faced plain case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat red gold and the white enamel dial has center seconds and dials at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock for respectively the week day, time and day of the month.  The movement has a verge escapement.
Dial and movement are signed.
