Gold hunting cased lever watch

A fine 18 Carat gold French hunting cased keyless quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1890. Jewelled nickel plate movement with cut and compensated bimetallic balance and over coiled spring, two polished hammers striking on a gong.
White enamel dial with painted black Roman numerals and outer 24-hour markers, blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds dial at 6. Polished hinged case with double-headed Imperial crest secured on the front by 6 screws, the reverse engraved with a coat of arms with the words bien faire et laisser dire, (do well and let say) slide repeat and setting button in the band, together with associated 18 carat gold chain, cuvette signed Charles Oudin, Palais Royal 52, Paris and numbered.
