Gold  cylinder watch by Breguet
–
A Breguet Souscription with secret signature, museum-qualiy, circa 1805. An 18K pink gold, engine turned, French gold punches on the pendant, inside lid with two punched numbers, B 1474 and 913 (case number, according to. archive Joly), signed and numbered Breguet movement with ruby cylinder, temperature compensation and parachute, original enamel dial with secret signature, numbered 1474, backside signed “Borel”, Souscription steel hands.
The case is in excellent condition, the engine turning is almost completely preserved and not faded, inside you can see a polished former dedication, but both numbers are still very well readable, case, movement and dial with matching number 1474. According to the Breguet archive the pocket watch with the numbers 1474/913 was sold to the Chaudoir brothers on 1st of January 1805.
