A French very decorative 20K gold and enamel open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1780. Fire gilt movement, verge escapement.
White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, Arabic quarter hours, original gold hour hand and a replaced minute hand, small chip near the winding shaft. Multicoloured gold case, French 20K gold punches, decorative en grisaille enamel scene on the back.
