A fine and very decorative verge watch with enamel painting and date indication made in France circa 1790.
The silver open faced case of this watch has engine-turned decoration on the back and the dial has an enamel painting, decentralized dials for the time and date indication with respectively black Arabic numerals for the hours and quarters and black Arabic numerals for the dates. The movement has a verge escapement.
