A large Swiss gold and enamel verge watch with retrograde date, circa 1780, gilt full plate verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge.
White enamel dial, Breguet numerals, sector in the centre for the retrograde date indication, case back decorated with a blue enamel background, a polychrome floral decoration in the centre, outer ring following the same pattern, case numbered.
