A Dutch silver and gilt pair cased oval verge pocket watch with date, circa 1640. Firegilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved balance cock.
Silver dial with Roman numerals and single steel hand. Plain silver inner case, outer case filigree, the back with shuttered winding aperture. Movement signed.
