A fine gold and enamel cylinder watch with matching chain pendant and key, circa 1800, gilt cylinder movement, blued steel balance bridge, fixed standing barrel, signed Adamson à Paris.
White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, gold hands, outer track for the minute indication, gold case, both bezels decorated with split pearl-set, translucent blue enamel back with a floral motif in the centre, rope-twist band, the pendant and key decorated with blue and white enamel, a cartouche with initials in the centre, dial and movement signed, original leather presentation case.
