A fine and unusual Swiss, 18K gold, enamel and diamond keyless brooch watch in the form of a cornucopia, circa 1910. Snap-on back with an engraved monogram of a lion holding a flag and the motto Nil Desperandum textured cornucopia with diamond set rim and tip, floral decorated bezel with diamond highlights, floral decorated band, hinged winding crown, pin to the reverse. Enamel dial with black Breguet numerals and red 12, gilt outer minutes. Gold spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Unsigned.
