A fine, small gold enamel verge pocket watch, circa 1780.
18k gold case, the band with geometrical pattern, the back side engine turned and translucent cobalt blue enamelled, a stylized blossom in the centre, the edges with stylized foliage, large lateral hinge. Enamel dial, radial Roman hours, filigree gold hands. Full plate movement, keywind, firegilt, chain/fusee, solid movement pillars, three arm brass balance, fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge.
