A French 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch with calendar, polychrome enamel painted dial, and front wound key, from the 19th century. This watch has a movement with a verge escapement. Plate engraved Le Roy et Fils. The white enamel dial is decorated in polychrome with a woman and a sheep. It features three small off centre dials: at six o’clock for the hours, at three o’clock for the days, and at nine o’clock for the dates. The plain case is made of yellow gold.
