An extremely rare, very fine French 18 carat gold open faced pivoted detent pocket watch with one minute tourbillon, circa 1890. Plain à goutte case. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and blued spade hands. Glazed, frosted gilt 4/5 plate movement, tourbillon with 1 minute rotation time, finest mirror polished steel tourbillon cage, gold screwed compensation balance. Movement signed and numbered.
