A fine and heavy French 18 carat rose gold hunting cased quarter repeating pocket watch with perpetuel calendar and moon phase, circa 1875. Gilt, fosted bridge movement, blued screws, two hammers, two gongs, gold screwed compensation balance, blued balance spring, counterpoised lever, ruby endstone on lever and escape wheel. Gold Cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours, sunken seconds, day, date and month indication, spade hands. Plain à goutte case, tiered, reeded bezel, slide for repetition. Cuvette signed.
