A very fine French 18 carat pink gold open faced quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1890. Glazed movement, exquisite precision lever movement, repeating hours and quarter hours, Guinand caliber, wolf’s toothing, screwed gold chatons. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, sunken subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Plain à goutte case with elaborate monogram VP to the back. Cuvette signed.
