A technically interesting large verge watch with calendar centre second and enamel painting, made in France, circa 1790. It has a silver case with master’s mark AK, an extremely rare enamel dial with multi coloured painting, in the upper area a military coat of arms with crown, crossed flags and swords, a decentralized time display, central second, a French calendar with date and weekday and steel hands and a full plate movement with a verge escapement.
