A French important lady’s miniature minute repeating pendant watch – with original leather box, circa 1898.
18 Carat rose gold, engine-turned case, Gloria ray case decoration, with cartouche and enamelled monogram CB, reeded slide for repeating mechanism and gold dome, numbered and signed: Le Roy, Horloger du Roy à Paris, 7, Boulevard de la Madeleine. Gold, engine-turned dial with radial Roman numerals on gold cartouches, and with blued Breguet hands. Bridge movement, cal. Louis Èlisee Piguet No. 5905, frosted, gilt and signed, with two hammers /  two gongs, gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
