A French multicolour pocket watch, circa the 18th century.
Frosted gilt full plate movement, signed, keywind, chain and fusee, conical moulded movement pillars, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, pierced and engraved balance bridge. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with fifteen minutes numerals, and beetle & poker hands. Multi-coloured gold case, the bezels with stylized foliage, the back cover with chased decoration in high relief, engine-turned circle, and the centre with multicolour gold decoration. Signed on dial and movement,
