A significant, museum quality rock crystal pendant watch with stackfreed, made by Josias Jolly in Paris, France, circa  1635. This watch features a curved gilt and silver case composed of 18 intricately ornamented elements, but the round rock crystal front insert is missing. The silver dial features an image of a village and a bridge, an outer ring with Roman hour numerals and a single hand. The movement is equipped with a verge escapement, a stackfreed and a gut string.
The movement is signed.
