The present watch is still in its signed original presentation box including the corresponding numbered original papers, on which the special quality with the Glashütte chronometer balance is mentioned. This watch also comes with an iron watch chain from 1916. The chronometer movements of Alpina were imported raw Swiss movements, equipped with Glashütte escapement parts and a regulator fine adjustment. The first Alpina pocket watch with a Glashütte anker escapement that met chronometer requirements, was made in 1912.
