An especially large gold full hunter case watch with original papers, box, certificate, replacement spring and glass, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte near Dresden, Germany, circa 1899. The numbered full hunter case of this watch is crafted from 14 carat gold has two engine turned lids and the white enamel dial is marked A. Lange & Söhne, has red Arabic numerals for the five minute scale, black Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial also with red Arabic numerals and original, gold hands. The numbered movement has a Deutsche Uhrenfabrikation quality movement with a precision lever escapement, a gold lever, a gold escape wheel and a fine adjusting device.
The case and movement have matching numbers and the case, dial, movement and box are signed.
