Impressive and extremely rare watch with repeater

An impressive and extremely rare gold full hunter cased watch with a quarter repeater, made by the Deutsche Präzisionsuhrenfabrik GmbH in Glashütte, Germany, circa 1920. The numbered full hunter case of this watch is crafted from 14 carat gold has a front lid with a gold boat with the initials HE around the mast. The white enamel dial is marked ‘Original Glashütte’ and features Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The numbered, 1A quality and glazed movement is fitted with a Glashütte precision lever escapement, a quarter repeater, screwed gold chatons, a fine adjusting device and a diamond end stone.
Case and movement have matching numbers and the dial and movement are signed.
