A fine and rare 14 carat gold hunting cased quarter repeating pocket watch made by
A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, circa 1920. A smooth case with gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer minute track, auxiliary seconds at 6 o’clock, sunk center and Louis XV hands. The frosted gilt ¾ plate movement with a lever escapement, blued screws, two hammers, two gongs, a gold chatoned center wheel, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, florally hand engraved balance cock, an index spring fine adjusting device, and gold lever and escape wheel.
