A fine small open faced 18 Carat gold “à-goutte” quarter repeating pocket watch, made by Samuel Frederic Ravené, Horlogér du Roi, in Berlin, Germany, circa 1820. This watch has a case which is magnificently chased with an engraved back and dust cover, an enamel dial with high quality gold Breguet hands and a movement with a fine cylinder escapement and a quarter hour repeater.
