A very fine, very big and heavy A. Lange & Söhne pink gold hunting cased pocket watch with minute repeater, sold 22 February 1894 for 1,175 Mark.
18 carat pink gold case with monogram TI and additional glazed movement; precision lever movement with gold lever, gold escape wheel and fine adjusting device; original white enamel dial in very beautiful condition with Arabic numerals, red minute register, sunk subsidiary dial for the seconds and pink gold Louis XV hands. Dial and movement signed. Matching numbers on case and movement. This excellent watch, in nearly unused condition, is a very fine collector’s object and comes from the estate of the first owner with extract of the archive.
