A German hunting cased Glashütte pocket watch for the American market in quality 1A, circa 1880. An 18 carat rose gold case with glazed movement and case maker’s punch mark “CWS” (Charles William Schuhman); a white enamel dial with Roman hours, blued spade hands and countersunk dial for the seconds; a 3/4 plate movement and gold screw compensation balance. Dial signed “A. Lange, Dresden” and movement signed “A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte B/Dresden“.
