A German very fine, almost as new, extremely rare Glashütte gentleman’s pocket watch, manufactured in quality 1A, with original box and original certificate, circa 1906.
18 carat rose gold engine turned case, design “Imperial”, with gold dome. Signed enamel dial with Arabic “Empire” numerals, auxiliary seconds, inscription: “SEHET ZU, WACHET UND BETET, DENN IHR WISSET NICHT, WANN ES ZEIT IST” and gold Louis XVI hands. Signed 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, hand-engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever and escape wheel and chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
