Gilt metal lever movement, jeweled, precision screw regulator, wolf’s tooth winding, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, silver case, pink gold crown and hinges, front cover with blue and red enamel monogram CA, case and movement signed.

Accompanied by the original box and certificate, gold chain and 18k yellow gold and moonstone fob with monogram CA.The present Vacheron Constantin silver chronometer watch was previously owned by the famous South American millionaire and socialite Alfredo Cernadas. Cernadas gained infamy in 1969 when, several months after entering into divorce proceedings with his wife, killed her in their Manhattan apartment. The watch bears an enameled monogram AC and an accompanying monogrammed fob for Cernadas. Additionally, the watch was purchased from the retailer L & E Fabre in Buenos Aires, Cernadas’ home city.
