A very fine, rare Glashütte gentleman’s hunting cased pocket watch – quality 1A – specially made for Löbner jewellers in Berlin, circa 1901.
18 carat gold monogrammed à goutte case with gold dome and glazed movement. Signed enamel dial with Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds and gold Louis XVI hands. 3/4 plate movement, frosted, gilt, with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, florally hand-engraved balance cock, index spring fine adjusting device, gold lever and escape wheel and diamond endstone on balance.
