Gold open faced pocket watch by A. Lange & Söhne
–
A fine German pink gold precision pocket watch with extract from the archives, circa 1894. This watch is crafted from 18K pink gold, with the Lucia style case and movement bearing the matching number 32684. The watch boasts a very early A. Lange & Söhne, precision lever movement still lacks a fine adjusting device but offers fine quality with a gold lever and escape wheel. The original enamel dial showcases Breguet-style radial hours, an outer minutes track, a subsidiary dial for the seconds, and pink gold Louis XV-style hands. The watch is in good condition and comes with an extract from the archives. It was sold on October 17, 1894, to Fritze & Brust in Berlin for 331.50 marks.
