A German very fine, rare, heavy and almost as new decorative magnificent Glashütte hunting cased pocket watch, manufactured in quality 1A, circa 1874.
18 Carat gold case with florally lavishly engraved edges and band, Renaissance style high relief ornaments, signed and engine turned gold dome and glazed movement. Silver dial with applied gold ornaments, radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued Fleur de Lys hands. 3/4 plate movement, nickel-plated, stripe-decorated, and signed; with screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, gold lever and escape wheel, and chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
