A rare repoussé German pair cased verge pocket watch with matching rococo chatelaine, circa 1760.
Two cases: Silver repoussé outer case with depiction of Aeneas and Dido and a large lateral hinge; silver smooth inner case. Matching chatelaine with cupids and rocaille decor. Enamel dial with radial Roman hours and Louis XVI hands. Full plate fire gilt movement, keywind, firegilt, chain/fusee, baluster movement pillars, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, engraved and florally pierced balance bridge.
