In 1930, the Nuremberg brewery was the largest in northern Bavaria with an annual output of around 350,000 hl of beer. It was founded in 1889 by merging the Liebel and Bernreuther breweries. There was also the Konrad Denk brewery and in the following years numerous other Franconian breweries. In 1897, the name was changed to Brauhaus Nürnberg. The present watch comes from family ownership.
