–
A small full hunter cased watch in original box and with original papers, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte near Dresden, Germany, circa 1907. The case of this watch is crafted from 18 carat gold, has a dedication on the cuvette “Katie Eckardt, Bad Kreuznach”, a monogram “KE” on the front lid and a plain back. The white stepped enamel dial features Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold hands. The very fine A. Lange & Söhne movement is fitted with a quality 1B precision lever escapement, a gold lever, a gold escape wheel, a fine adjusting device, a minute wheel and a gold chaton.
The case, movement and box are numbered and the dial and movement are signed.

The number 5 instead of 4 on the plate is a relatively common mis punching. All parts of the watch are original and belong together. It is extremely rare to find such a small A. Lange & Söhne full hunter case watch in this complete original condition in the original box and with original papers. The box is also in a sensational condition, with original mainspring and glass.
