An important German silver self-striking triple cased coach clock with repeater and alarm, circa 1750-1767.
Highly complicated verge movement with four barrels, Tompion type fine adjusting device, extravagant pillars, engraved barrels, self striking, repeater and alarm.
White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and steel hands. First case leather with base, second case silver, melted laquer or enamel in tortoiseshell optics to the back, third case silver, four windings for movement to the back. Movement signed.
