A dress watch with original box and papers, made by A. Lange & Söhne in Glashütte, East Germany, circa 1950. The numbered case of this watch was crafted from silver and has a hinged back and the A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte case punch. The very beautiful two tone silvered dial features Arabic hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and original hands. The numbered movement is fitted with an A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte precision lever escapement and a fine adjusting device.
The case, dial, movement and box are signed.
