An impressive and early large Dutch key wind pocket watch with date, circa 1710. splendid Dutch full plate fire gilt verge movement with glazed sides, worm wheel set up between the plates, fusee and chain, fully decorated main plate and engraved mock pendulum, decorative pillars.
Pair cased, protective silver polished outer case, inner case also made in polished silver.
Signed on the main plate, original, signed silver Champlevé dial, aperture for date at six o’clock, decorative gilt hands, Roman numerals, and outer Arabic 5-minute divisions.
