An interesting German pair cased verge pocket watch with repoussé case and hallmarks, circa 1781.
Silver cases, the 1st case with German watchpaper and a splendid repoussé scene in very beautiful condition, and the 2nd case smooth with English hallmarks 1781; intact movement with verge escapement and an English construction with German signature, M. Lean Frankforth (Frankfurt); white enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and decorative, probably original, hands.
