A splendor English pair cased verge watch repeater with chatelaine by Francis Gregg London, circa 1691-1747.
A gilt silver, both cases are pierced, first case with portrait cartouches and elaborate decoration, second case pierced with decoration of animals, cartouche with town scene, replaced bell, original silver dome, signed and numbered, splendid early verge movement, signed on the plate, repeating hours and quarters, enamel dial, blued steel hands, corresponding gilt chatelaine, movement intact.
