An 18k gold Egytian enamel and diamond-set hunter cased keyless lever watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1880, nickel lever movement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, gold cuvette signed Veronesi Cairo.
White enamel dial, Turkish numerals in black, subsidiary seconds in red, gold case, front with diamond-set floral design on a translucent light pink enamel panel, graduated rose-cut diamond border, surrounded by black enamelled and engraved arabesques, the back with a light pink translucent enamel panel, the centre with a rose cut diamond-set, surrounded by black enamelled and engraved arabesques,the bow finely chiselled, dial and movement signed.
