Gold ruby cylinder repeater made by the famous Breguet

A fine large quarter repeating ruby cylinder by Breguet in a gold open faced case, circa 1821. Key wind gilt bar movement with the watch number stamped on the plate under the dial, suspended going barrel with polished steel stopwork. Plain cock with polished steel parachute suspension, blue steel regulator with bi metallic temperature compensation. Plain three arm gold balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Breguet suspended ruby cylinder, small steel escape wheel. Push quarter repeating on two polished steel gongs. Signed engine turned gold dial numbered on the reverse, Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands. Engine turned gold open faced case with engine turned middle. Gold repeating push in the pendant which is pulled out and twisted a quarter of a turn before use.
Wound through the signed and numbered gilt metal cuvette. Accompanied by an official Breguet certificate taken from the original archives.
