A splendid, probably Swiss, skeletonized quarter repeating pocket watch with figured automaton Jacquemart depicting Diana & Apollo, circa 1810. Verge movement, repeating hours and quarter hours, visible pink gold wheels, polished stainless steel striking train. Skeletonized to the front, florally engraved, firegilt main plate, splendid figured automaton, figures with four different gold nuances hitting bells with hammers, white enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. 18 Carat pink gold case with cambered engine turning to the back and reeded mid section. Case punched VIB.
