A fine, well-preserved gold repeater watch with an unusual, original case/stand made of leather, circa 1820.
Engine-turned 18K gold case with probably original key. Screwed enamel dial with Breguet-style radial hours, outer minutes track, and blued Breguet steel hands. It has a gold-plated spindle mechanism with repetition of the hours and quarter hours. An unusual, original box also served as a stand for the bedside table.
