Silver open faced verge with three complications

A rare French silver open faced key wind pocket watch with three horological complications made by Fernier, Besan & ccedil, circa 1780. This watch has a plain case. The white enamel dial with small eccentric time indication at 6 o’clock featuring Arabic hours, outer dot minute divisions with Arabic quarter hour numerals and poker & beetle hands, days of the week at 9, the date at 12 and moon phases at 3, and a further outer minute track with fifth of a second and fifteen minute markers. The movement is fitted with a verge escapement.
