A heavy, German Glashütte minute repeating full hunter pocket watch, manufactured in 1A quality, circa 1894. Sold in 1894 for 1,393 marks with original box and original certificate.
Gilt 3/4 plate movement, two hammers / two gongs, gold screw compensation balance. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes track with red five minutes numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and gold Louis XV-style hands. Polished 18K rose gold, Louis XV à goutte shape case. Dial and movement signed.
