A fine and rare Swiss, Staybrite stainless steel, keyless dress watch with a double date calendar and two-tone dial, circa 1940. A polished and brushed case. Two-tone dial with Arabic numerals, red inner date ring, subsidiary seconds and day of the week aperture. Blued steel lozenge hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed.
