A rare American 18K yellow gold and silver octagonal keyless pocket watch, circa 1930. An Empire case polished back with outer floral motif engraving, centred by an applied gold and silver portrait of children. Enamel dial with painted blue Arabic numerals, and outer minute divisions, set in the centre of a blued plate with applied yellow gold cherubs appearing to strike the centre bell above floral decoration. Pink gold fancy hands.
A rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Movement signed case signed Roy.
