A very fine and rare German, 18k yellow gold hunting cased, keyless, A1 quality pocket lever chronometer with Guillaume balance, circa 1908. Accompanied by the original fitted box with spare mainspring and crystal as well as the original certificate. A Lucia, solid, polished case, hinged gold cuvette.

Three-piece white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold Louis XVI hands. Glashütte 3/4-plate, frosted gilt movement, 16 jewels in screwed chatons, straight-line Glashütte escapement, gold escape wheel and pallet fork, Guillaume balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
