A rare English 18K gold hunting cased double-dialled keyless pocket watch, circa 1906. Minute repeater with moon phases, double date calendar and special gravitational locking device for the covers. A polished case, the front cover with a blue, red and white enamelled coat of arms, reverse cover with a blue and red enamelled monogram. White enamel dial on the front with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 9, large vertically lined inner moon phase aperture with a lunar calendar on the edge and blued steel spade hands.

Annular white enamel rear dial with black Arabic chapter on the border for the dates, inner days of the week in French, the centre exposing the movement. Nickel-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, raised barrel arbour, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet overcoil balance spring, index regulator. Case numbered, hallmarked and stamped AB for London case maker Arthur Baume. London case hallmarks for 1906.
