French oignon verge pocket watch in silver case Circa 1715

Silver oignon with cartouches

A French verge oignon in a silver case, circa 1715. Full plate fire gilt fusee movement, Egyptian pillars. Pierced and engraved  cock, three-arm steel balance with spiral blue steel hairspring. Small silver regulator. Gilt dial, cartouches with black Roman numerals and small cartouches with Arabic numerals, inside ring marked for the hours and quarters the outside ring marked for minutes. Wound through the gilt dial with steel hands. Plain silver case.
